Hi
We use Smartsheet to manage one of our projects. The data from Smartsheet then gets pulled into Power BI, from where I can pull reports, etc.
About two months ago the semantic model stopped refreshing. I am trying to get to the bottom of the issue so I can fix it, but I am really out of my depth. A colleague set everthing up, but he has left the company. I don't work with the back-end of Power BI and don't know how everything works together.
When I try to manually refresh, it shows the following error:
I don't know where to find the dataset's settings page so I can try enter the credentials for the data sources.
I found a page where I can manage the connetions and gateways, and it shows that the tables are all offline. I don't know how to get them online again:
If someone is able to help I would appreciate it a lot.
Thank you,
Francois

@Francois_P this issue looks to have been asked about before, so this may help: https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Desktop/Data-source-credentials-and-scheduled-refresh-grey...
If you look in the "Gateway and cloud connections" section above Data source credentials, this might help you understand what is happening - you may need to create a new (personal cloud) connection to take over from your former colleague's as the model is referencing local files.
Hi @Francois_P ,
If you go into the semantic model of your report, there is a section for data source credentials that should allow you to edit credentials (e.g.):
Hope this helps!
Thanks so much for the quick response.
I see that setting it greyed out on my side. Do you perhaps know why that would be?
Thank you,
Francois

I got it to work again. Thank you so much for your help!
You were correct, I had to install and create a new On-premise data gateway (personal mode). Once this was done, the Data Source Credentials setting in the semantic model became available, and I was able to edit the credentials.
