Entering credentials for data sources
Francois_P this issue looks to have been asked about before, so this may help: https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Desktop/Data-source-credentials-and-scheduled-refresh-greyed-out/td-p/2509296
If you look in the "Gateway and cloud connections" section above Data source credentials, this might help you understand what is happening - you may need to create a new (personal cloud) connection to take over from your former colleague's as the model is referencing local files.

I got it to work again. Thank you so much for your help!
You were correct, I had to install and create a new On-premise data gateway (personal mode). Once this was done, the Data Source Credentials setting in the semantic model became available, and I was able to edit the credentials.
