After creating a merge query, I want to disable the load of the source queries, but the Enable Load option is missing. I've made sure Office is up to date and I've done a quick repair.

MCSA: BI ReportingHi @bgilbert , In Excel, you do not Enable Load from Power Query. Close Power Query, then in the main Excel window, go to the Data ribbon, and make sure Queries & Connections is selected so the below panel shows up.

MCSA: BI ReportingHi @bgilbert ,
Which data source you are using or entering data directly? I have tested in my environment and the Enable load option still works fine after merging tables.
You can try to use the latest version of power bi desktop to check whether it still has the same issue.
