Do we need "Column Distribution" when we have "Column Profile"?

Do we need "Column Distribution" when we have "Column Profile"? I don't see any information that is present in Column Distribution and not present in "Column Profile"

Hi @Megha166 !

There are some difference to it.

1) Column Distribution gives you distinct & unique values count for all teh columns with out clicking on the column header.

2) Column Distribution gives you some default transformations when you hover the mouse on colum header, including Remove duplicates, Remove Errors.

3) Column Profile gives you more detailed information about column including mis, mx, distict, unique & error rows but you need to click on colun header.

4) It also gives you ability to see through Value distribution how each value segment is dominating your column value.

Hasham
