Direct Query Feature

Hi all,

I caught part of the webinar on the direct query feature. Is this only available in SQL Azure databases? I'd like to see a webinar on how to use the streaming analytics with Azure as well using the new Power BI Desktop as well!

I'm referring to two things. The first, I want to know about the Direct Query feature that was shown in the most recentr webinar. My main question being, is it only available through Azure SQL Databases?

My second area of interest is the streaming analytics in Azure. Yes, the link you provided is what I was referring to. I think a video demonstration on this topic would be great, especially to have the opportunity to ask questions.

The only other source that I know of that supports Direct Connect is Azure SQL DW. However, there is also a "Live" connection to SSAS but not sure they actually call it "Direct Connect" like the others:

Right. The SSAS live connection is only available on tabular models, correct?
