Hello together,
I´ve got a problem with my data. I got some excel files, which are all master data files, on an active drive. So they are always reachable and not stored locally on my laptop. Then I get some other data from the SQL server.
Now the problem:
When I actualize my data manually in Power BI Desktop, I get different data compared with the scheduled refresh in Service.
Every report and file is connected in Service and in my refresh history are no errors and everything is completed.
The gateway was not created by me, but it is online and some other employees are working with it, even the creator of the gateway.
The time when I actualized it was nearly identical and it isn´t live data, we only get the data on the SQl server one time a day and in the middle of the night.

Hi @Anonymous,
Please make sure you get results at the same time both from Power BI service and Power BI desktop after refresh.
You can download a copy from Power BI service, open the report in Power BI desktop, click the Refresh Now for the dataset in Power BI service and Refresh in Power BI desktop at the same time, then compare the results.
Also please try to update the on-premise data gateway to the latest version, you can confirm this from the gateway owner. Run the latest Power BI desktop version as well.

Hi @v-qiuyu-msft,
I downloaded the pbix file from BI Service and clicked on Refresh. It was the same problem. Then I clicked on the different months and I saw that the data was false only in the month of July or before.
The utilization and the percentage of booked and available hours are coming from a created measure.
The booked hours are coming from our server, the available hours are created in Power BI with a calculated column, because of the different holidays in each region of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, what our system can´t handle very well.
So the data from this column is different in Desktop and in Service, but the data does not come from the SQL server.

Hi @Anonymous,
That's too strange. Till now, we can't provide much more effort on forum side. I would suggest you create a support ticket to get dedicated support.
