Datetime to date in SQL statement does not work

Greetings!

I am trying to write a single SQL statement with all the transformations. To avoid "Change type" in Power Query, I am using "convert" function in SQL. I am puzzled why it is not working properly.

As you can see, I used "convert" function to get "date" type of ShippingDate but no change is happening in Power Query: it is still Date-time type.

If you know how to fight the problem, please recommend your solutions/advice. Any help would be appreciated!
