Date Table making affecting my visuals

Hi,

I am working with multiple dates fields and want to be able to filter them all at the same time so I made a date table. However when I make the relationships it is affecting my visuals, it is displaying too many dates at the bottom and the option to select just by month in the pane disappears. Im not sure how to make it work right. Please see photo attached.

Hi @nhodges ,

You need to add a monnth column to your caledar table and use that on the axis.

In Power Query, you can use something like this:

monthKey = Date.Month([date])

monthName = Date.MonthName([date])

monthNameShort = Text.Start(Date.MonthName([date]), 3)

MonthYear =
Text.Combine(
    {
        Text.Start(Date.MonthName([date]), 3),
        Text.End(Text.From(Date.Year([date])), 2)
    },
    " "
)
