DataMarts (preview) - Future

Does the fact that the DataMarts are currently in preview mean that it is possible that in the future they will not be available? Or does it work the other way around and it means that shortly it will be a standard offering for PBI Premium Workspaces?

personal opinion: They are on the chopping block and you will be asked to use the Fabric SQL endpoint instead.

That's my guess as well. There's too much overlap with warehouses for datamarts to stay their own thing.
