Data refresh from mixed sources

My report uses a combined query in the qruey editor from:

• Db with directquery
• 2 online excel files

The max refresh rate trough the enterprise gateway currtenly is 8 times/day.

Is there a way to still refresh the directquery db quicker and then combine it with the data from the excels which update every 3 hrs?

Hi @RikMertens ,

By my tests with the combined data source below, it seems that we only could set the schedule refresh for Daily and Weekly in Power BI Service.

• SQL Server Database 
• excel in bussiness OneDrive

If you want to refresh the data source for more than 8 times/day, you may try Premium capacity.
