Hi,
I want to use excel sheets in a sub folder within an In site library on SharePoint as my data source. I tried several ways (Sharepoint List, Folder, Online List), but not getting it done. Who can help me?
Solved! Go to Solution.
The following method and walkthrough is a common and easy-to-use pattern provided by Wyn Hopkins that I have used often. It is one thing to connect to the folder, and quite another to combine the files. This works well for a number of file formats including Excel and CSV.
Magically combine Excel files From SharePoint Folder with bonus debugging tip!

Thanks to you all for replying. I got it done!
Hello @Erik1980 , and glad to hear you were successful! If you have many folks in your organization who store files in SharePoint Online (and yes OneDrive), share Wyn's video with them, and take advantage of handling like this in Power BI Power Query or Excel Power Query. Folks will be much happier.
Use SharePoint Folder connector from Power BI. Use the root url of your SP. I I tried it.
For example my site has several folders and subfolders and then folder inside the sub folder and files. I can see all those files in the list. Base url looks like:
https://[yourDomainName].sharepoint.com/sites/MySPSite

Hi @Erik1980 ,
We can get the excel sheets from a subfolder in Sharepoint.
