Hey All,
Trying to change my Data Source Setting in BI from a SharePoint connection to a local file. This is proving difficult as I do not see the option to add additional sources or edit the existing SharePoint connection to a local one. Any help/assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

Hi @Anonymous
You can do pretty much anything with your data in the transformation part
1. Open tranformation editor
2. Add the local file as a new source
3. open the advanced editor
4. Replace the source from the sharepoint query with the source from the local file query
you may need to adjust a few things manually afterwards.
Is this helps consider marking it as a solution
If you need any help let me know
Hi @Anonymous ,
Currently the Change Source feature in Power BI Desktop only supports the same data source, if you want to change an SharePoint source to a local file, you may need to do like @ ilton mentioned.
