Hi,
Can anybody tell me what "Response status code does not indicate success: 413 (Request Entity Too Large)." means?
Right now, I get this every time I tries to update Power BI with data from an Excel file.
It han been working for a long time

Hi,
I found the problem, this morning. The Excel file was edited in some way, that ALL columns was active (all +16.000) when I changes this all was running fine again.

Hi @Birch,
In your scenario, how did you get data from the Excel file? In Power BI, if we import the data, each dataset maximum size can be 1GB, but if we connect to the workbook instead of importing the data, we will be limited to 250 MB for the dataset. For more information, please refer to the articles below:
File size limit increase to 1 GB
Generally, the error message indicates that the web server thinks that HTTP data stream sent by the client is too large. I would suggest you to check if the workbook exceed the limitation. Also when you refresh the data, please use the Fiddler to trace HTTP traffic.
If you have any question, please feel free to ask.
Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
