Dear All,
Currently I created a dashboard in Power BI desktop where I have intergrated R plot and I am able to see the viz. Now the point is R plot is accessing the DB in Azure. So While the report creation I used the statement as below.
library("RODBC")
dbhandle = odbcConnect(dsn="Azure DB",uid="<My User ID>",pwd="<My Password>")
res = data.frame(sqlQuery(dbhandle, 'select * from <My Table Name>'))
The DSN was created in my local system with the name "Azure DB". However after the dashboard published in azure(not app.power.bi) its unable to fetch the dsn info.
Can someone please share any views on what code I need to alter?
Hi @somoksarkar,
What do you mean publish the dashboard in Azure(not app.power.bi )? Do you use the Power BI embedded feature?
Have you got any message and do you create User DSN or System DSN for Azure DB in ODBC administrator?
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
