Custom variable 'Status' and custom variable 'p'

I wanna make a new variable called 'status' and one called 'p'. The purpose for this, is to be able to make a response rate.

The formula should be something like this:

1. Custom column 'status'

if [taskstatus]='submitted' => status = 'answered'

else status='not answered'

2. Custom column 'p'

[Status]='besvaret' => p=1

else p=0

Hi,

From the ribbon Add Column - Conditional Column- fill the relevent area as below.

Choose for cloumn name - task status cloumn

Operator -equal

Value - enter a value - "status" (use apostrophe because this is text )

Then - "answered"

Else - "not answered"

The other one is same logic just dont use apostrophe because it is number.

I totally missed the "conditional column", it made it much easier.

Your solution was the right one, however there's no need to use apostrophe.
