Custom SQL Query not supported by Power BI Service?

Custom SQL Query not supported by Power BI Service? Auto Refresh failes with error "Native queries aren't supported by this value". when Manually Refreshed in Power BI Desktop data gets refreshed.

Create a View for the SQL query and use that view in your Power BI report. I ran into the same issue and fixed it using View. My data refresh using gateway is also working now.
