Creating a table from another table using a power query

I imported a table from an existing dataset using DirectQuery and I would like to transform the data using Power Queries in Power BI.

Currently I am using DAX to create a copy of the table (for example: My_V_Products = CALCULATETABLE(V_Products))

However this copy is a calculated table and not a table that shows in the Transform Data screen.

 

Is there a Power Query which is equivalent to CALCULATETABLE?

    In the query editor, have you tried to right click on your query and choose "Duplicate" or "Reference"?

      Calculated tables and DirectQuery tables do not show in the query editor. This is exactly the problem I am trying to solve.

        Hi sgolan ,

         

        Both the m function and dax have their own focus, so it is not certain that this table can be replicated in its entirety. More information is needed.
