Creating API calls using data returned from OData query

So I am creating report based on Azure DevOps data. Some data is accessible using OData feed, and for some data I had to use API calls. The problem is that I am using data returned from OData feed for creating URI for api calls. For example, I want to import data about team capacities. To do that, I have to make api call to this address

https://dev.azure.com/{organization}/{project}/{team}/_apis/work/teamsettings/iterations/{iterationI...

but all this paramaters in {} I have to pull using Odata feed.

All this works fine in Power Bi Desktop, but when I publish my report to Service and try to refresh report I get error message

{"error":{"code":"ModelRefresh_ShortMessage_ProcessingError","pbi.error":{"code":"ModelRefresh_ShortMessage_ProcessingError","parameters":{},"details":[{"code":"Message","detail":{"type":1,"value":"[Unable to combine data] Section1/TableName/AutoRemovedColumns1 references other queries or steps, so it may not directly access a data source. Please rebuild this data combination."}}],"exceptionCulprit":1}}} Table: TableName

I read a lot of articles about this topic, but none of them was helpful.

Hi @NenadV

Your error seems that you combine a query in another query, but one of the query can't be acessed succefully.

After publishing reports to Power bi service, do you add on-premise data source under gateway and configure credential for the odata source under Dataset->Setting->edit credential?

Best Regards

Maggie
