Hello,
I have created a custom connector that has direct communication with our database and makes the connection there without API.
How can I pass the validate to add it to Getdata>>online services?
Is it possible without API since the communication with the database is direct?

Hello @Doc-tan ,
There are some requirements to validate connector by Microsoft. Direct connections to internal/company databases do not meet certification requirements.
You should
- Add OAuth
- document the API
- submit for certification
- pass validation
- sign legal agreements with Microsoft
To get more details you can check this documentation:

Hello @Doc-tan ,
Online services support certified connectors only. Like Microsoft certified connectors, cloud APIs etc. A custom connector cannot appear in this section unless it goes through Microsoft certification.
If this solved your issue, please mark it as the accepted solution. ✅
Is it possible to get the certificate without calling API? Because if I understand correctly, it asks me when I'm in validate.
I don't have any such call, only after connecting I check for access to our database.
Τhanks for the quick reply
