Create table

Wanted to create a table as below. pls help me the right DAX formula or Query.

Time frameIndex
YTD1
6 Months2
3 Months3

Hi @Anonymous ,

 

We can enter this table in Power Query Editor:

 

let
    Source = Table.FromRows(Json.Document(Binary.Decompress(Binary.FromText("i45WigxxUdJRMlSK1YlWMlPwzc8rySgGChiBBYwRAsZKsbEA", BinaryEncoding.Base64), Compression.Deflate)), let _t = ((type text) meta [Serialized.Text = true]) in type table [#"Time frame" = _t, Index = _t]),
    #"Changed Type" = Table.TransformColumnTypes(Source,{{"Time frame", type text}, {"Index", Int64.Type}})
in
    #"Changed Type"

Or we can generate it from Records in a blank query:

let
    Source = Table.FromRecords({
            [Time frame = "YTD", Index = 1],  
            [Time frame = "6 Months", Index = 2],  
            [Time frame = "3 Months", Index = 3]
        } 
    )
in
    Source

We can also create a calculated table by DAX:

DaxTable = 
DATATABLE (
    "Time frame", STRING,
    "Index", INTEGER,
    {
        { "YTD", 1 },
        { "6 Months", 2 },
        { "3 Months", 3 }
    }
