Good day,
Beginner here :). I want to concatenate a Text field and a date field to create a new fields (which is just for informational purposes, wont be used for navigation)
usual syntax would be (if both were text, I guess) = [name] & " " & [GoLive_date], but because the GoLive_date is a date, it fails.
Please assist?
Thanks

Make it
= [name] & " " & Text.From([GoLive_date])
If you want date in a particular format, you can use format code in Date.ToText. Below is an example for yyyy-MM-dd format
= [name] & " " & Date.ToText([GoLive_date],"yyyy-MM-dd")
