Consuming Maximo7.5 data from Oracle.

Have you ever used PowerBI with Maximo7.5 data? IBM states it has an "open reporting architecture". Looking for something
denormalized, rather than an oracle client connection to join queries. I did this several years ago with a "universe" in BOBJ. Fingers
crossed we might have a better tool in 2018. Any IBM reporting guru members out there?

@SmartMeter,

There is no built-in connector for Maximo 7.5 in Power BI Desktop. If you have configured Oracle for use with Maximo 7.5, please use Oracle connector in Power BI Desktop to connect to the data source.

Or you can consider to create an ODBC connection for Maximo 7.5 and connect to the ODBC data source in Power BI Desktop.

Lydia
