Scheduled Refresh not working with result dataset built from two different sources
Hello:
I'm having an issue scheduling a refresh on the resultant dataset, which is built from two different datasets (1 dataset from Oracle DB and the other dataset from Excel). The dataset from Excel is uploaded to One Drive since, Power BI has seamless integration with One Drive service.
However, when I try to schedule a daily refresh in Power BI service, it does not recognize the Excel dataset located on One Drive.
As the resultant dataset is dependent on both Oracle and Excel dataset, the connection to Oracle dataset is established, but for Excel it complains of Invalid Credentials.
I'm not sure what could be going wrong here. Any advise is welcome. Please help.

onbi,
Do you use personal mode gateway or on-premises gateway? In your scenario, you combine on-premises data source and online data source in a single dataset, please review my replies in the following similar thread about how to set schedule refresh in this case.

Helper I
We've configured and are using On-Premise Data Gateway for our Oracle DB datasource.
Thank you for providing the link. I'll try the solution provided in the link and will let you know.
