Connecting to API data source

hello Team,

 

I'm trying to connect to API from Powerbi. i'm landing into the screen as mentioned below url. can someone help ?

What kind of API do you connect to in Power BI Desktop? What authentication does the API support? There is a blog about how to connect to API in Power BI Desktop for your reference.

Can we connect to REST API using direct query of powerbi.....

Thanks. here the main problem is passing slicer values to APi and retrieving the o/p. Can this be possible

yes we need to pass Slicer Values to API.

@c-ssrinivasan,

I am not clear about your expected result, if you want to pass the slicer value of Power BI Desktop to your API source, I am afraid it is not possible.
