Hi Everybody,
Situation:
I am making a Google Analytics(GA) report for a company. This company has several units that each use a different Google-account for their online-marketing. It seems that I need to log-in seperately to each google-account if i want to access the GA-data. each account seperately works fine, however when i want to connect the multiple google accounts to my report only the account to which i am logged on to works.
Is there a way to connect various Google-accounts to a single PowerBI report? If there is not, do you have some ideas for work arounds? For example, bringing the data from the various google-accounts to a single database and connect the database to PowerBI? Or maybe a piece of manual code that enables me to access multiple accounts?
Thanks in advance!
Willem
Hi, @WM117 were you able to find a solution? As a workaround, maybe you can try to test your connection with a 3rd party connector. I currently use windsor.ai's GA connector and I can export directly many different GA account's data at once to PBI. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the Salesforce connector in the data sources list:
After that, just grant access to your Salesforce account using your credentials, then on preview and destination page you will see a preview of your Salesforce fields:
There just select the fields you need. It is also compatible with custom fields and custom objects, so you'll be able to export them through windsor. Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.
In Power BI service, you can create a different Dataflow for each account then create one Datamart from different Dataflows and then Power BI report from this one Datamart.
