Connecting and refreshing Excel workbook data

Power BI can connect to and refresh data from Excel workbooks in OneDrive and OneDrive for Business. Are there any future plans for other file shares like dropbox or on-premise resources?

I could suggest currently using Power Update in order to update the data in your Excel (Power Pivot/Power Query) workbook for On-Premise data. It also does give you the ability to update your data, as well as upload it into OneDrive for Business.
