Connecting SAP BW via SAP Router

Hi everybody,

is there a way to connect to SAP BW via SAP Router? Afaik this is not possible, but maybe there is already a valid solution or workaround for this issue?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Based on research, currently power bi not support SAP Router string, you can only use the "server", "system number", "client id" to connect.

You could vote this similar idea which has been submitted in Power BI ideas forum and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.
