Hi!
I am working with KPIs and one of them needs two validations:
1) The cell from the source file shouldn't be blank
2) We have to take into consideration that, since this is a live file and it's changing multiple times in a day, sometimes the users populate the field with single characters like 1, A, etcetera.
What I thought would be a workaround was to use the LEN function to validate if the field (BCIT Clients) has more than 1 character.
I tried using it but it seems that I need to parse it first. Is there a function that can count characters from a string? I appreciate your help on this matter.
@Anonymous You have a parenthesis problem:
IF( OR ( LEN( [BCIT Clients ) > 1, NOT ( ISBLANK( [BCIT Clients ) ) ), [Approved], 0 )
| User | Count |
|---|---|
| 4 | |
| 4 | |
| 3 | |
| 3 | |
| 2 |
