Changing date type from Text to Date

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to change the date type of this column "Index" from text to date. (e.g. 31Mar'21 in text to 3/31/21 in date format).

Hi @Anonymous 

So it needs to be month/day/year format, add a custom column, then change the type to date

Table.AddColumn(yourPreviousStep, "newColumnName", each Text.Select( Text.BeforeDelimiter([Index],"'") ,{"0".."9"}) &"/"& Text.Select([Index],{"a".."z","A".."Z"}) & "/"&Text.AfterDelimiter([Index],"'"))
