In power query, how to change the delivery month to MM/YYYY (07/2024)?
Solved! Go to Solution.
@pang22 , You can add new custom column and extract month and date.
Use below given M-Code in customcolumn
= Text.PadStart(Text.From(Date.Month([DeliveryMonth])), 2, "0") & "/" & Text.From(Date.Year([DeliveryMonth]))

Hi @pang22
In Power Query, the date format is decided by your computer's regional setting when the column is of date data type. If you want to display a date in MM/YYYY (07/2024) format, you will have the result of Text data type. To convert dates to text in MM/YYYY (07/2024) format, you can use Date.ToText - PowerQuery M | Microsoft Learn
Add a custom column with
Date.ToText([Delivery Month], [Format="MM/yyyy"])

Jing
