Change all excel file connection strings from one semantic model workspace to a new owner/workspace

Thank you for responding to this request. We have a reasonably large desktop excel file (700 meg) with a couple of dozen connections to a single large power BI semantic model in owner A's power bi service workspace and need to change all table and pivot connection strings to owner B's workspace (identical semantic model - just moved its location). Is there a reasonably straightforward way to do this without recreating every table and pivot in the file using the new owner B workspace?

Hi @bobsaved ,

If you want to modify the connection to the semantic model in Excel:

Sorry, you can't modify all the connections in bulk, you can only change them manually one by one.

If you want to modify the data source connection in pbix:

Then you can try to publish to Power BI Service first, and then use the Rebind Report in the REST API to rebind the report dataset.

My bad. The pbix file is the 730 meg, excel file 77 meg. Any ideas how to change connection strings as noted?
