Hi People,
I have been wanting to look for any polar plot circular as in the attachments - it is done using matplotlib in Python.
Now i want to repeat the same thing in the PowerBi.
The graph shows the occurance of an event at a particular angle.
Please suggest the closest possible approach.
Cheers
Hi @gjaan90 ,
It seems that the chart is created in Python. Power BI also supports run Python visual currently.
Please check if you have installed the latest version of Power BI (2.69.5467.1751 )which will give you the best performance firstly.
The Power BI Python integration requires two Python packages to be installed (Pandas and Matplotlib).
In addtion, you could find other supported packages in Power BI from here.
More details, please refer to this document .
If you still need help, feel free to ask.
Best Regards,
Cherry
Hi Cherry,
Thanks for the reply.
The plot generated by the python script is not interactive. However, for the mentioned problem i have to build a plot which can be interactive by various parameters as an input from the user with the check box slicer.
Hi @gjaan90 ,
By my tests with the Python visual, it could be filtered by slicer in Power BI.
What parameter do you mean? What if Parameter or Query Parameter?
By my tests with What if parameter, it seems that it will be filtered by the slicer.
Best Regards,
Cherry
