Hi, I need a help pls. I was working on a report without any problems in my VM.
After a change I've done the report was closed and I'm not able to open it anymore in my VM. It says that something went wrong and there is a column that cannot be determined. That column was created at the beginning and I deleted 1 week ago and I refreshed and it was working. I don't know what is happening?
Also, I've tried to open the report from a remote desktop and it works.
Thanks
That's the error.

MCSA: BI ReportingAre you using a live connect @Anonymous - there is an issue here logged, but there have been 2 releases since the initial release and this should be fixed. I am currently on 2.84.701.0, which was released either Saturday or Sunday (yesterday). Try that, and review that thread.

MCSA: BI ReportingThanks for replying.
I reinstall powerBI in my VM but is still not working. A colleague couldn't open the file because the version he had but once he update the version he could open the report.
I'm still working on the remote machine as it hasn't been updated.
Thanks
Marcela
Finally, it works.
I've downloaded from the site instead and installed it again.
Thanks for your help.

MCSA: BI ReportingOne more thing...I installed power Bi desktop using windows store. Maybe that's the issue? I'm going to try to download it from the site and install it again.
The Windows Store version is what I am using. But yes, if it is giving you issues, try the download. The core program though is the same. The nice thing about the store version is it is generally always up to date. That is why I know two releases have happened since the big Aug 2020 release. (At least two - could have been more that I didn't see)
Also, maybe I missed it @Anonymous but what kind of report is it? LIve Connect (SSAS/Power BI Dataset), Direct Query, Import, Composite?
The issue reported was SSAS/Live Connect/Power BI Datatset. But I can confirm the latest Windows Store version doesn't have this issue.

MCSA: BI Reporting@Anonymous , Log an issue. There is already some known issue from August 2020 release, check those
