I am trying to get data from Business Central but I get the error:
Microsoft.Mashup.Engine1.Library.Resources.HttpResource:
Request failed:
Data Version 4, Error: The remote server returned en error (500) Internal server error..
Data Version 3, Error: The remote server returned en error (500) Internal server error..
I have double checked that the company name is correct (Not the display name) and that I login with the correct credentials.
Any suggestions?
@mininor,
I can connect to Business Central from Power BI Desktop June release and Power BI Service. I would recommend you check if there are any issues in your Business Central side.
Regards,
Lydia
Dear Lydia
What kind of issue?
Could you please be more specific?
I wouldn't know what to look for and where in Business Central.
Best regards
Thomas
@mininor,
You can post a question in Business Central forum about the 500 error. There is also a similar thread for your reference.

Lydia,
The question you are referring to relates to importing something into Business Central and seems to have resolved itself.
My problem hasn't and it occurs in Power BI and not in Business Central.
Are you certain that the problem originates from Business Central?
Best regards
Thomas
@mininor,
Are you able to connect to Business Central in Power BI Desktop following the guide in the blog below?

Hi Lydia
No.
At first I was logged in with a different user in Power BI, didn't work.
Then I thied to login with my username and password from BC, and got the error this user is not a Power BI user.
Then I signed up my user from BC to Power Bi and logged in with that user but I still get the mentioned error where I understand I am supposed to get a list of companies.
Best regards
Thomas
