I'm looking for documentation on PowerBI.Dataflows()
I don't see it here:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerquery-m/accessing-data-functions
Solved! Go to Solution.
Looks like the only documentation will have to be synthesized from here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/dataflows/get-dataflows#dataflow.
Agree, that documentation seems to be missing.
Maybe because this function is supposed to be invoked without any parameter and just leads you to the area where you can select the dataflow that you want to import.
Not sure what the optional record parameter could contribute here. Maybe limiting the selection of the dataflows?
Very much doubt that using the optional record here would have any benefits on performance, tbh.

I don't need an intro, but thanks.
I don't see discussion on this blog that is directly relevant to my post.
My friend, that site is Matthew Roche's wonderful site. It's got everything about dataflows, and it's authoritative.
I don't think you actually read my question. I'm looking for documentation on the M function PowerBI.Dataflows(). All the other data source functions are documented somewhat, but not that one.
There is only one place to start:
