I would like to know how to calculate pass or fail for each student if they have taken both the courses. I have a measure on grade as the grades could be A,B,C or S for passing. Each student will have two or less rows based on number of courses taken.

Thanks for your reply. I didn't try your method but I wrote a calculated column to decide Pass or Fail using SQL query and used below measure
Hi @Anonymous ,
If you want to count the number of courses passed per student, please try the following Measure1.
Measure1 =
CALCULATE ( COUNTROWS ( 'Table' ), 'Table'[GRADE] IN { "A", "S", "B", "C" } )
If you want to count the number of students who passed both courses, please try the following Measure2.
Measure2 =
CALCULATE (
DISTINCTCOUNT ( 'Table'[STUDENT ID] ),
FILTER ( VALUES ( 'Table'[STUDENT ID] ), [Measure1] = 2 )
)
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Winniz
