CDS Field Display Names

I'm using the Common Data Service connector.  Is there a way to pull in field display names from a CDS entity?

I'd like to save some work in manually renaming my columns.  (For example, "Modified By" instead of "modifiedby".)

Thanks for the feedback.  I'm currently manually renaming the columns with friendly field names -- was just hoping there was some additional info I could pull through the CDS integration which would allow me to access the friendly field names which are already specified in my CDM entities.

I ended up finding a way to accomplish this through the Power Query Builder plugin for XRM ToolBox.  It outputs the M Code (with friendly field names) which I can then paste into Power Query.

Hi @cromproi

You could try to manage the field names in Power Apps, then refresh on Power BI Desktop.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/common-data-service/data-platform-manage-fields#upd...

Please pay attention to the restricitions.

Or you could rename columns' names in Power Query(Edit queries).
