hi,
my first question on this forum,
I am trying to connect to azure devops across projects. Therefore I am using a wiql query and after expanding the resulting json that results in a table with work item id's. Now I need to call the azure devops api per Id to an unique url including that id to get the work item details, but how do I do that?
thanks in advance,
bennie

Hi @BDijkslag
You may have a look at this blog: Querying the Azure DevOps Work Items API directly from Power BI
You can create a query to get data of a single work item first, then convert it into a custom function with the work item id as a parameter.
Work Items - Get Work Item - REST API (Azure DevOps Work Item Tracking)
Once you have a list of all work item ids in a table column, you can invoke above custom function to add a new column to the table. In that column, it will invoke the function on every row with the row work item id.

Hi, the custom function works, the only downside is that the scheduled refresh on PBI online is not possible using this.
