I have connected Outlook to Power BI however I want automatic changes to be made i.e. when a new email is received in Outlook, this is updated within Power BI.
How do I do this please?
Hi @Anonymous ,
you can use Power Automate to trigger a dataset refresh when a new email is received. But the frequency is limited: 8 times per day with a pro license and 48 times with a premium license.
If you need to refresh more often, you could instead build a model in Direct Query mode and reference a SQL server or Dataverse for Teams. Use Power Automate to push the Outlook-data in there. For SQL-server you need a PA pro license, but Dataverse for Teams would work without.
