Automatic refreshes

Hello,

Each time a step is modified, Powerquery refreshes the view, and it can take a long time. It is possible to deactivate this systematic update, and to manually launch the update of the visualization.

Disable Background Refresh. Below shows it inthe Global Settings. You can also do it on a specific file in the Current File/Data Load section.
