Appending excel

Hi,

I am trying to append almost 200 excel files, but I keep getting the error below. (Expression error) The key didn't match any rows in the table. It provides no other info, so I am not sure what to change. What am I missing to be able to combine the files if they are all formatted the same?

are those files exported from a certain system ? have they ever been opened ?

the reason I am asking is that some systems when an excel is exported they have a corrupted xml schema

if the above is the case, then I recommend on of the below solutions:

1- export csv files instead of the excel files

2- open each excel file and save without change. this will allow excel to repair the xml schema

then retry the append operation
