Hi,
I have a problem regarding Power Bi's "Append Query" system.
I have 4 independent queries that I want to combine as one but I don't want to keep the source queries.
If I try to delete them it just says that another query is linked to it.
Is there a workaround for this to save storage?
Thanks in advance!

Hi @Anon2005 ,
If you right-click on the source queries of your appended table and uncheck 'Enable load' then these source tables won't be passed to the data model so there's no 'storage' implication. It's only the size of data that is included in the model itself, not anything in Power Query (apart from the text that makes up the M code for the queries, which is negligible), that takes up storage space, both on your HDD as the PBIX, and user memory (RAM), when using the report.
Depending how good you are with M code, you can nest your four source tables into a single query and append them within the same query, so you only have to look at one table in your Power Query list but, again, this will not save you any 'storage' space.
