Add column with manually typed date

Hello,

I am looking for a solution to add new column in power query with a date I will type in manually (not current date).

That is, I need to add the step that will add column 'Date' in date format with the value of for example 30.11.2023 for every row.

Any tips would be appreaciated 🌷

Date.FromText("11.30.2023") or #date(2023,11,23)  if format is dd/mm/yyyy

Hi @Kunek

The requirement is not clear.
You can create a custom column and insert the date. But I have doubts whether all rows should be the same date or not.
Also always entering new dates in PQ is not the solution.

Please share screenshots, demo data, and more details about your query.

Thank you for the reply.

I am receiving each month a similar data sheet, only with different values. I need to prepare a report showing how the values change month by month, so I added each data sheet as separate data source, added the date manually to each of them and use append queries to get one query I can further work on.
