Hello everyone,
I am pulling excel/csv from Sharepoint workspace and using Power Query as ETL tool, and data of a query will be written into database. I want to add a column of the current permission login user email from Data source settings into the query, therefore, after written into database, I know each row is created or modified by whom.
Is there a way of doing so?
Thank you so much!
Best regards,
David

As far as I know, it is not possible. Adding the current login user from the datasources as a column also doesn't make sense. You can only import an existing list of a username into Power Bi. BTW, the Username() and Userprincipalname also not possible to return the datasource username.
