Add a Wild card to a dynamic file path

I need help adding a wild card to my dynamic path. I have a folder that holds files the will always have the same name with a (mmm yyyy) each month. I have created a dynamic path where the user can select the month and year drop down to access the folders, but I need a wild card for just the name of the file and to NOT include the (mmm yyyy). Can some please help?

Not possible.  But what you can do is load all these Excel files (or PDF, but not both) into Power BI and then let the report user filter that.
