I need to understand what access people need to be able to refresh dataflow data which is linked to a spreadsheet through power query.
I have built a spreadsheet which gets data from a dataflow in a workspace through power query. I want to share this with my team but they don't currently have access to the workspace that the original data flow is in so they cannot refresh the data. I referenced the data into a workspace they did have access to but it still won't refresh as they don't have access to the original dataflow in the workspace.
Am I going to have to either give them access to the original dataflow (Not preferred) or is there another way to give them access to refresh the data without having the full visibility of the original workspace?

this raises a couple of DLP flags.
Anyway, if you want them to be able to refresh the dataflow you either need to give them access to the dataflow or you need to share a delegated entity (like a power automate flow) that can request the refresh.
