I have a question about adding files.
I've added data using "get data" via Dossier on my PC. In this folder, there is an Excel file with several tabs. I created requests for each tab that was important to me. It's a file for month X. I've created the dashboard and it's working fine. Now the next month's report has arrived and it's identical in format and data except that it's M+1. I've added it to the folder on my PC. I went to powerbi update but it's not possible to create a "month" segment to see only one month and not the total of the two.
I would like to add that there is a link between the first report and an imported Excel file for associating employees and customer accounts.
How can I make my graphs appear with the data for one month and not for the two cumulative months?
Thank you
I guess the data in the Excel files doesn't have month values, right? If so, you'd better add month values to the Excel file names. In this way, when you use the Folder connector and combine files, the query after combining has a File Name column which contains these month values. Then you can extract the month values into a new column and name this column as "Month". When you create a report with this data, use this "Month" column to filter/slice the data so that you can see data in a month and switch the selected month.

Hi @v-jingzhang ,
Thank you very much for your help
I have an identical column in each file, and in each sheet of each file. Its name is "Date report generated" in this format (31/01/2023 12:20:44).
When I fetch the data, and then combine, transform and apply, in my dashboard it shows the sum of the months.
For example, in my graph it will show the sum for a customer.
I find ! it's on relation
