790 rows loaded but "couldn't authenticate with the credentials provided"

Hello,

I have made a custom function in Power BI that makes a call to an API. I use the function in a table, and the preview loads just fine. It tells me to specify how to connect though, and this doesn't go away when I tell it to do so anonymously, no matter what level of the API I try to do so at. If I just apply the changes anyway, it loads 790 rows before being cut off by a pop-up of "couldn't authenticate with the credentials provided".

What am I doing wrong?

The API I'm using is Geoapify, and I connect with a key saved as a parameter.

Hi @callmeErik

Based on your description, you need to make sure you got the correct token for the Api, you can refer to the following link.

Connecting to an OAuth API Like PayPal With Power Query • My Online Training Hub

And it is bewtter that you need to set the query privacy levels to organization or private, you can refer to the following link.
