ArcGIS maps doesnt retrieve the current location in the andriod mobile but works fine in desktop

i am unable to retrieve my current location in the powerbi arcgic map visual in my powerbi mobile app for any of the reports but it is working fine in desktop, ios mobile. i have checked for the permission settings in app for location , cleared cache, tried all but still the issue persists how to resolve this case

This is a known issue already been submitted by other communities. PBI mobile team find the causing and working on it. The fix will be pushed at the next release.

The next app version will have a fix for this issue (expected in the Google Play store by 08/20/2024). Please get the latest app and reply back if the issue still persists.

Hi @Anonymous 

my app version is 2.2.240702.21179078, and the device is both in andriod mobile and tab it is not working, and yes i have installed the google environment correctly. The issue is that in the arcgis visual when we search for the location and click on use current location, it says cannot retrieve current location only in the andriod devices but it is showing in desktop and ios. could you tell if there is any restriction made in andriod devices alone

What version power bi mobile app are you used? Which type device that you used to test? Have you correctly installed the google environment on your device? Can you share some more detail information about this issue? They should help us clarify your scenario and test to troubleshoot.
