Safari OSX with Fabric UI - Issues

Anyone using Safari on OSx w/ Fabric? I've tried and had to abandon for Chromium/Edge. I'm @ version: Version 18.2 (20620.1.16.11.8) of Safari.

Issues:

Extremely slow response on all workloads. Menus take a long time to cascade down.

Buggy menus. Note the pic. This is what happens when you drop down the Environment. Shows just a sliver of the menu.

Notebooks are erratic. If your cell is long, you can't move the cursor to the center. It 'jumps' to the bottom.

...many other UI goofs.

Though many sites suggest Safari is supported.

(BTW - Before you ask, for security/privacy concerns, I've decided to ditch Chrome/Chromium world & its password manager for a 100% Apple ecosystem.)

Hi @evogelpohl01 ,
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
I noticed you mentioned you're using OS X. Just to clarify, Apple transitioned from "OS X" to "macOS" starting in 2016, and the version you’re using (Safari 18.2) suggests it’s part of macOS rather than OS X.
If by chance you're still on an older OS X version, it might not fully support Microsoft Fabric due to outdated browser technologies.
If you are using modern macOS version ensure Safari is Up to Date.
Additionally,

Enable Experimental Features in Safari:

--Go to Safari > Preferences > Advanced > Show Develop menu in menu bar.
--Under Develop > Experimental Features, enable WebGL, modern JavaScript features, and CSS optimizations.
Clear Cache and Disable extensions:
--Clear Cache and Cookies.
--Ensure no third-party Safari extensions (like ad blockers) are interfering with Fabric.

Refer the following link for supported browsers:

If you’ve tried the above steps and the issues persist, it might be worth reporting the issue to Microsoft Support.
